The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) organizes the SSC GD examination every year to recruit Constable (General Duty) personnel for various central armed police forces such as BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, Assam Rifles (AR), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). This recruitment is a great chance for both male and female candidates who have passed Class 10 or an equivalent qualification and dream of serving in the paramilitary forces. For SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2026, a total of 25,487 vacancies have been announced. Candidates who have successfully submitted their application forms will appear in the Computer Based Test (CBT). The SSC GD CBT exam for 2026 is planned to begin from 23 February 2026 onwards.
